ERAMET owns and manages this website. ERAMET has put in place appropriate policies for updating the website.

All elements belonging to ERAMET and/or its subsidiaries, such as but not limited to the website, brand names, designs, models, images, text, photos, logos, graphics charter, software, search engines and databases, are the sole property of ERAMET. These Terms of Use do not represent any sale or grant of intellectual property rights whatsoever to the Visitor or any third party over the elements belonging to ERAMET and/or its subsidiaries. Any total or partial representation of the website without express permission from ERAMET is prohibited and shall constitute an infringement sanctioned by articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. The marks of the website publisher and its partners, as well as the logos depicted on the website, are registered trademarks (composite or otherwise).

Registration - Password management

Visitors are issued a personal username based on the information they supply, together with a password. Visitors are required to change their password when they first log in into the site. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use apply from when they are published online and are enforceable from when the Visitor first uses the website. They are governed by French law. The French courts shall have sole territorial jurisdiction to hear any dispute (on the grounds of substance or form) relating to the use of this website. The ERAMET website is not intended for people living in jurisdictions where access to this website is prohibited (on the grounds of nationality, residence or another reason). No-one who is subject to these restrictions should access the ERAMET website.

Information supplied by Visitors - Data protection

ERAMET stores the personal data supplied by Visitors when registering with the website.

Personal data will only ever be stored for the duration permitted by law.

ERAMET may be required to disclose personal data to third parties if necessary in order to:

  • detect, investigate and prevent security issues, fraud or technical difficulties;
  • ensure the technical and operational quality of the service offered;
  • protect the rights, property and security of ERAMET, its users, employees and other persons.

If personal data are disclosed to third parties for these reasons, ERAMET shall apply the necessary safeguards.

ERAMET has internal privacy policies and procedures to guarantee a high level of data protection by all its affiliates, irrespective of the source of the personal data or where they are processed.

ERAMET may also share personal data with service providers instructed to perform services in its name. These providers will be contractually prohibited from using or disclosing the data, unless necessary to provide the services or comply with the law.

Security 

ERAMET has taken appropriate physical, technical and administrative security measures to prevent unauthorised access to personal data supplied voluntarily by Visitors and to prevent any unauthorised use or disclosure of the data.

In the event of unauthorised third party access to personal data, the Visitor shall be informed and ERAMET will notify the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés in France, or the relevant national data protection authority if the data are not stored in France.

Rights of data subjects

  • You have the right to access your personal data in order to know what information is kept about you;
  • You have the right to correct your personal data, and can ask ERAMET to fix any mistakes;
  • You have the right to be forgotten, and can ask ERAMET to delete any personal data that are not needed to deal with your requests;
  • You have the right to data portability, and can receive all your personal data in a standard, machine-readable format, by contacting the ERAMET Data Protection Officer (dpo@eramet.com).

Finally, you can file a complaint with the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés in France if you believe your personal data have been processed in breach of the law.
